Cardiovascular Diseases are rising in women at younger and younger age : stress brings on risk of heart diseases.
A decade ago, only post menopausal women were considered to be at risk for cardiovascular diseases, but now several studies conducted in India have shown a rise of 10 to 15 % in CVD among young women. Studies also state that around 60% of women in their 30s and 40s are shown to be at high risk for cardiovascular diseases.
If you take a diabetic population, women are more prone to get CVD, compared to men. Depression is one of the risk factors in coronary artery diseases.
